UX writing for Nets Group

Nets have a lot of different applications running to service their incredibly diverse customer groups. I helped them optimize the vocabulary in several of these applications, both with their more technical terms and with text fluidity and readability in general, making it easier for 'normal' people to understand more technical terms and content.

Bridging knowledge gaps for Nets

What started as a Copywriting project turned into three codependant projects, and moved from editing, to UX writing, and back to copywriting.

Defining a user-friendly tone

I helped Nets create a simpler and more jargon-free Tone of Voice, specifically aimed at small and medium businesses. There was, and partially still is, a knowledge gap between people within finance and everyone outside it, and I helped Nets bridge some of that gap in their marketing material.

Recreating Nets' onboarding flow

Initially, my first project for Nets was a proofing of their onboarding flow. We quickly realized that not only did the flow need to be reworked, but the tone and actual information in the flow had to be redesigned as well. Once we had a tone of voice, and a redefined vocabulary, we created an onboarding flow designed specifically for small and medium businesses

Website rework with McKinsey

For the rework of Nets' customer-oriented sites, they brought in McKinsey Digital to handle everything. And McKinsey brought me along. The copy was based on the Tone of Voice update I had made earlier and focused on creating an experience far easier to understand than previously.

No pics, sadly

Most of my work for Nets lies behind secure logins on the various Nets portals. That, unfortunately, means, that there are no images for me to show you. Not here, at least. If you want to know more in-depth about these particular projects, reach out, and we'll find a way.
